(<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hubspot.com\/marketing\/best-times-post-pin-tweet-social-media-infographic\">Source<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I\u2019ll begin with some of the fundamental Dos and Don\u2019ts of social media within the <strong>dental industry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Starting with the Dos:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style: inherit; text-indent: 0;\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Read and understand the GDC guidance on advertising and using social media.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Have your own practice social media policy.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Ask your patients for a five-star review on Google &amp; Facebook.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Learn how to reply to <strong>all<\/strong> reviews, positive and negative.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Ask for the patient\u2019s <strong>explicit<\/strong> written consent specific to social media.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Encourage patients to give video reviews.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Make clear that a treatment advertised may not be appropriate for every patient.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Post photos and videos that are <strong>both<\/strong> fun and professional.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And most importantly\u2026..<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style: inherit; text-indent: 0;\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Post a Selfie!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Look out for my post tomorrow to find out the Don\u2019ts of social media!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>What do you think of my blog?
