Instagram has been busy testing several new features to overtake Snapchat and maintain popularity. <\/span><\/p>\n Features currently in development are:<\/span><\/p>\n Slow motion mode: Although most phones already have the capability to do slow motion video, this will only be available for the Instagram camera. This could improve uptake for its camera and open doors for new creative options. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Mute profile: This feature will allow users to mute the posts of other profiles without having to go through the social risk of unfollowing them and of course the muted user will be none the wiser. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Story calendar: This will give users a calendar layout of the Instagram Stories they have posted.
