Snapchat and orthodontics?

Good morning, afternoon or evening,

As an orthodontist you may or may not have heard of Snapchat. If you have, have you ever wondered if Snapchat could work for you? Is there really a way for you to capitalise on the Snapchat market?

The answer is yes.

As an orthodontist your primary patient would typically be a teenager which is great news because many Snapchat users are the millennial crowd!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

• – Snapchat can be a great platform to link to other marketing efforts, tell your patients about upcoming promotions or sales. Add links to your website, tell your patients to take screenshots of your snaps to redeem special offers or discounts.
• – Give your patients a behind the scenes look at how your practice is run. You could do quick stories of staff members, give a glimpse of a new procedure, or show off a new product that has arrived. The point is to give your patients something they might not typically see so they keep on coming back.
• – Add music to your snaps, it helps to make your posts interesting and fun to watch.
