Facebook clamps down on privacy

Good morning, afternoon or evening,

Facebook has issued a statement to reassure users on their privacy after the Cambridge Analytica fallout.

Facebook are simplifying their privacy controls and putting an end to its third-party Partner Categories, which allowed data collected offline by third party companies to be imported for targeting purposes.

This will be implemented over the next six months in the hope of earning trust from its users.
